Reporting this afternoon, a certain councilor in Rivers state who is identified as Hon Blackson Nwanyanwu who is in charge of Etche Local Government Council Legislative Arm in Rivers state, has allegedly beaten his brother’s wife Mrs Anyanwu, the lady in the picture over the accusation of being a witch.

According to Mrs Anyanwu’s narration in the video, she said that councilor and his siblings beat her up and one even hit her with a chair on the head twice which made her bleed profusely.

She said that while she was with her husband the previous day, her husband went to bed leaving only her listening to the radio. At a pint, she heard voices in the compound but the voices were not clear to her because of the volume of the radio.

She said her attention was brought to the voices she has been hearing when she heard the voice of councilor and she equally heard her name too which made her turn down the volume of the radio and wanted to know what it was.

It was then that she heard them saying that she is a witch and since she entered their family, she has been a bad luck. That was how they came and started beating her up which ended her in the condition she is right now in the hospital.
